The Serà Horta Sud 2030 project is a project that arises from the collaboration between the Horta Sud Foundation, the associative and business fabric of the region, the museum, the Mancomunitat Horta Sud and the Diputació de València, and whose purpose is to raise awareness, debate and propose measures and actions in line with compliance with the 2030 Urban Agenda and the SDGs for the structuring and improvement of the region and the quality of life of its people.
The Museu Comarcal de l’Horta Sud, proposes the collaborative campaign “Visions of the pandemic in l’Horta Sud” in order to preserve the testimonies of the oral, graphic and audiovisual memory of the passage of the COVID-19 by the region. We are beginning a process of collecting graphic, audiovisual and documentary material that testifies to the moments lived during the pandemic in the Horta Sud.
This project, financed by the Generalitat Valenciana and with support from the University of Valencia, allows the participating museums to present their collections in a ways which represent diverse perspectives. The intention is to stimulate new conversations and invite the visitor to reflect on the role of women, patriarchal myths and social inequality between men and women.
